Mr. Cohen is a co-founder of Goldberg Cohen LLP where he specializes in the intellectual property issues arising during the various stages of the product life cycle, from design and development through ultimate manufacture and commercialization.  His past matters have included litigation of patent, trademark, copyright, and unfair competition suits before U.S. and foreign courts at the district court level and on appeal; prosecution of utility patent, design patent, and trademark applications in the U.S. and worldwide; representation in Inter Partes Review patent proceedings and trademark opposition proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; assistance with defense of oppositions and appeals before the European Patent Office; prosecution of copyright applications before the U.S. Copyright Office; technology transfers and licensing; and preparation of legal opinions regarding validity and infringement.
